Condition:

Framed: 76 by 95.5cm., 29? by 37?in. The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals a milky and uneven varnish through which UV light cannot fully penetrate, but reveals no obvious signs of retouching. There is a small surface stain towards the upper left corner. As a result of the artist's working method there are tiny spots of canvas visible in places where the paint has not taken. The canvas is slightly undulating. There are some very faint raised lines corresponding to the canvas weave. There is some frame abrasion to all four extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition and would benefit from a clean.
